As an At Your Service Center Colleague, you support a seamless, personalized shopping experience by handling Buy Online Pickup In Store (BOPS), merchandise returns, order pickups, and other assigned tasks while upholding Macy’s service standards. The role requires multitasking, problem-solving, attention to detail, and a customer-first approach in a fast-paced environment. You help customers, support sales and loyalty goals, and keep the shopping and service areas clean, organized, and inviting. Availability for a variety of shifts—including nights, weekends, and holidays—is required. At the start of each shift, you help prepare the At Your Service area, review sales goals, and stay informed about new arrivals, top-selling items, trends, and promotions. You welcome customers, offer friendly and personal service, assist with store fulfillment and pickup transactions, and keep the collection area organized. You also recover merchandise, maintain pickup and return areas, and complete BOPS orders and curbside deliveries in a timely manner. You share loyalty program benefits, thank customers, and collaborate with colleagues to improve customer and store results. The position involves regular use of computers and other technology, handheld equipment, and cash registers. Physical demands include talking, lifting, constant movement, standing, reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders. Colleagues must be able to stand for at least two consecutive hours and lift at least 25 pounds. The posting describes the role as seasonal. Macy’s states that full-time colleagues typically work 30 or more hours per week and part-time colleagues typically work 12–24 hours per week; schedules include weekend shifts, and weekly hours depend on business needs and colleague availability.
