About The Position

The Seasonal Retail Associate provides friendly, solution-oriented customer service in accordance with Duluth Trading Company’s “Go for WOW!” standard. The role develops familiarity with the Duluth brand and product offerings, supports customers throughout their store experience, and helps maintain a well-stocked, clean, and customer-ready store. The associate also processes transactions and follows company policies and procedures. The position description is a guideline and is not exhaustive of all duties.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Able to stand or walk for up to eight hours a day.
Frequently reach, bend, and twist below the waist and above the shoulders; use repetitive hand-to-finger motions; and reach with hands and arms.
Frequently lift up to 20 pounds and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds; push or pull up to 20 pounds.
Ability to climb ladders, reach, and bend.
Work in temperatures ranging from 50 to 85 degrees, especially in stockroom areas.
Use a computer for up to 60% of the workday.
Customer-centric approach; takes pride in work and shows ownership; operates with integrity and trust; communicates and listens well; and collaborates as part of a team.

Retail experience is preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

Develop familiarity with the Duluth brand and product knowledge to provide friendly, solution-oriented service.
Personalize customer service throughout interactions, including greetings, fitting rooms, and checkout.
Communicate sales and promotions effectively.
Capture customer email addresses according to company standards.
Respond proactively to customer concerns and provide positive resolutions.
Answer telephone calls courteously, provide store greetings and directions, and receive and fill customer orders.
Assist with receiving, processing, and replenishing merchandise.
Maintain merchandising, presentation, and display standards and keep the sales floor customer-ready.
Maintain cleanliness standards for the sales floor, stockroom, restrooms, cash wrap, and hospitality area.
Process register transactions accurately and efficiently.
Adhere to company policies, procedures, and practices.
Perform other duties as directed by management.
