About The Position

Simply Southern is seeking a Seasonal Retail Associate to provide enthusiastic customer service and help customers have a positive shopping and purchasing experience. The associate gets to know each customer’s needs and suggestively sells products they may enjoy, while representing the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values.

The role is part-time and based in person at the Charlotte store. Retail experience is preferred but not required. Flexible availability is requested.

Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders.
• Ability to stand and walk for 4–10 hours a day.
• Ability to work independently and stay self-motivated.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiating and influencing skills.
• Basic math skills.
• Familiarity with cash registers, computers, and calculators.
• Flexible availability.

Nice To Haves

• Retail experience is preferred but not required.
• One year of customer service experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
