About The Position

As a Retail Associate, you serve as a brand ambassador and help create exceptional in-store experiences through positive customer interactions. You use problem-solving and sales abilities to answer customer questions and make product recommendations while supporting the company’s values of customer service and teamwork. The role includes helping ensure products are available on the sales floor, maintaining visual displays, assisting customers, and supporting efficient checkout and product flow.

Requirements

• No specific education is required; a high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• Two or fewer years of experience in a position or specialization.
• Skill operating inventory and point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software tools.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Ability to communicate clearly with others.
• Availability to work a flexible retail schedule that may change seasonally and in response to location-specific business trends or forecasts.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer questions about product features, benefits, and availability, and engage with customers to understand their needs and preferences.
• Demonstrate and explain merchandise, and suggest suitable product options.
• Maintain store standards for visual merchandising, cleanliness, and safety.
• Retrieve merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations.
• Complete cash register transactions, including sales, returns, exchanges, and loyalty program connections, accurately and efficiently.
• Receive, handle, replenish, and process incoming and outgoing products accurately and efficiently.
• Support the Store Leadership team in delivering the company’s mission and creating memorable customer experiences.
