About The Position

World Class Vacations by WorldStrides is a leader in student group travel and experiences. The Orlando Operations Team is responsible for implementing assigned group itineraries and serving as the primary point of contact for Group Leaders from the groups’ arrival at Orlando International Airport through their departure. The team helps provide an organized travel experience so that group leaders and students can focus on their trip. This is a seasonal, part-time position with variable shifts between February and June 30. There are no set hours; shifts reflect company needs and the volume of groups traveling at a given time. The role reports to the Destination Operations Coordinator and Manager.

Requirements

Be available during peak times from February through June.
Work effectively as a team player with students, teachers, local vendors, and WorldStrides staff.
Be able to navigate a group through the city by foot and metro efficiently.
Have time-management and organizational skills.
Demonstrate integrity and responsibility.
Have a passion for helping others.
Have excellent customer-service and communication skills.
Have critical-thinking and creative problem-solving skills.
Be skilled at multitasking and able to work with minimal supervision.
Have basic computer literacy and skills.
Have access to a reliable personal vehicle for occasional use.
Be able to remain on your feet for assigned shifts and lift and/or move up to 30 pounds when assisting travelers with luggage.

Responsibilities

Facilitate group resort check-in and check-out.
Set up hospitality rooms.
Support special events, such as pizza parties, group dinners, and special ticketed events.
Support bus move operations.
Conduct daily group “Float and Promote” activities.
Coordinate luggage pick-up and drop-off.
Communicate with the team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
