About The Position

The Seasonal Operations Associate supports store goals during peak and high-volume business periods by delivering exceptional guest experiences and bringing the ALO Brand Mission to life. Through authentic connection, product expertise, and personalized service, this role drives operational excellence, builds customer loyalty, and contributes to a high-performing team environment.

The role supports inventory management, shipment processing, receiving, replenishment, visual standards, and other store operations. It requires frequent movement throughout the store, including the sales floor and back of house. When not assisting guests, the associate takes initiative to help keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of prior work experience in a client-centric sales and operational environment.
• Passion for customer service and delivering exceptional experiences.
• Self-motivation and a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to move constantly throughout all areas of the store.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to lift, bend, kneel, climb, crawl, and/or twist, and safely climb up and down a ladder.
• Ability to stand and move for an entire shift.
• Ability to work during the company’s blackout period, from the week of American Thanksgiving—including Black Friday and Thanksgiving weekend—through January 22.

Responsibilities

• Execute inventory management processes to maximize inventory accuracy and reduce shrink.
• Investigate root causes of inventory accuracy issues and partner with the General/Store Manager to escalate process or system gaps.
• Support shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, intra-day replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management.
• Maintain and champion strong visual standards for the sales floor.
• Work with reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities to ensure these areas are maintained and maximized.
• Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through strong stockroom standards and processes.
• Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests.
• Execute company-level operations-focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Management team.
• Assist with shipment processing and product flow, including visual merchandising placement and daily replenishment.
• Use metrics to support business-driving strategies.
• Resolve client needs quickly and effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Identify product concerns and communicate inventory needs to support business goals.
• Perform other tasks as needed to keep the store clean, safe, inviting, and operating efficiently.
