About The Position

Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a seasonal Holiday Sales Associate to help create welcoming, memorable Santa photo experiences at Tacoma Mall. The associate greets families, engages with children, takes photos, and helps guests enjoy the photo set experience from start to finish. Photography experience is not required. The role also includes operating point-of-sale systems and photography equipment, supporting smooth photo operations, and maintaining a safe and clean work area. The position requires availability for at least 20 hours per week or as needed, with flexibility during peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Employees may have opportunities to return for future holiday seasons and explore growth opportunities in the souvenir photography division, where available.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be able to process sales transactions and feel comfortable handling cash.
• Wear professional attire and maintain good hygiene.
• Be available to work at least 20 hours per week or as needed.
• Be flexible to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience and help every family feel welcomed and cared for.
• Work as a team member to help photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
• Interact in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
• Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
