Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate- Springfield Mall
About The Position
Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate to help create memorable Santa photo experiences at Springfield Mall. The associate welcomes families, engages with children, takes photos, and provides guests with souvenirs while delivering warm, attentive service throughout the visit. Photography experience is not required. Associates work with a team to keep photo operations running smoothly, operate point-of-sale and photography equipment, and maintain a safe, clean work environment. The role requires availability for at least 20 hours per week or as needed, including peak retail hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays. Training meetings and required courses must be completed. The position offers flexible scheduling, same-day pay options, an employee referral program, and opportunities to return for future holiday seasons or pursue growth in the souvenir photography division where available. Holiday perks include one free Santa visit for friends and family, with photo prints, holiday cards, a digital message from Santa, and access to Pixie Post.
Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Ability to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to process sales transactions and comfort with cash handling.
- Professional attire and good hygiene.
- Flexibility to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or as needed.
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail, service industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
- Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo set experience, making families feel welcomed and cared for.
- Work as a team member to ensure photo operations run smoothly and effectively.
- Engage with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers in a friendly, patient, and festive manner.
- Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
- Complete other tasks as assigned.
- Attend training meetings and complete required courses.
