About The Position

The Sales Associate generates sales by demonstrating passion for Pacsun products, brands, fashion, and trends. The role executes initiatives and tasks assigned by the leadership team, contributes positively to the store team, and consistently provides an exceptional customer experience. This is a part-time position requiring availability for 20–40 hours per week and flexibility to work weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods. Requirements

Passion for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Effective written, verbal, and presentation skills.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficiency in math and strong computer skills.
Ability to work 20–40 hours per week and a flexible schedule, including weekends, nights, and peak holiday periods.
Ability to lift or move up to 20 pounds frequently and up to 35 pounds occasionally.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods, climb ladders as needed, and maneuver around sales floor, stockroom, and office areas.
Ability to talk or hear regularly and to walk, use hands to handle or feel items, reach, twist, or squat.
Required vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
Ability to work in an open environment with fluctuating temperatures and standard lighting.

Responsibilities

Deliver an engaging, positive, and authentic customer experience.
Focus on full-price selling while maintaining awareness of product value and promotions.
Handle customer situations in compliance with policies and procedures, seek solutions, and involve leadership in escalated issues.
Complete assigned tasks in a timely and efficient manner.
Execute visual directives and maintain company visual standards.
Maintain organization and cleanliness to support a safe shopping and working environment.
Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, the Employee Policy Guide, and the Safety Program.
Comply with Loss Prevention policies and communicate violations to leadership or through the Silent Witness Hotline.
Share customer feedback with leadership to improve the customer experience.
Participate in company and store contests and events and stay current on financial goals and priorities.
Support the leadership team in achieving sales and operational goals.
Support and execute digital sales strategies, including ship-from-store and BOPIS.
Represent the Pacsun brand through enthusiasm for products, brands, fashion, and trends.
Contribute to a positive working environment by demonstrating core value behaviors.
Adhere to Employee Appearance Guidelines and help maintain the company’s fashion image.
