About The Position

Cherry Hill Programs is hiring a Seasonal Holiday Sales Associate to help create a joyful Santa photo experience at Walt Whitman Shops. The associate welcomes families, engages with children, takes photos, and provides memorable souvenirs while delivering warm, attentive guest service. Photography experience is not required. The role also supports smooth photo-set operations, operates point-of-sale and photography equipment, and helps keep the work area safe and clean. Applicants must be available for at least 20 hours per week or as needed, attend training, and be flexible during peak retail periods, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Day-shift availability from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. is needed.

Requirements

• Be at least 16 years of age.
• Be able to lift and carry equipment weighing 10–25 pounds and stand for prolonged periods.
• Have a positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Be comfortable greeting and working with families and children.
• Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be able to process sales transactions and be comfortable handling cash.
• Wear professional attire and maintain good hygiene.
• Be available to attend training meetings and complete required courses.
• Be flexible to work peak retail hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week or as needed.
• Have availability for the day shift from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Nice To Haves

• Previous retail, service-industry, or cashier experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take photos and provide guests with memorable souvenirs.
• Provide excellent guest service throughout the Santa photo-set experience, helping families feel welcome and cared for.
• Work as part of a team to keep photo operations running smoothly and effectively.
• Engage in a friendly, patient, and festive manner with children, families, guests, staff, and coworkers.
• Operate the point-of-sale system and photography equipment.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Complete other tasks as assigned.
