About The Position

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is hiring seasonal employees at its Groveport (Green Pointe) and Obetz, Ohio facilities to support holiday production and warehouse operations. The hiring event is scheduled for October 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Green Pointe facility in Groveport. Qualified candidates may receive a contingent offer and may be able to start as soon as October 29, 2026.

Seasonal Gift Production Associates assemble and package gift boxes, stock production and shipping lines, verify product and SKU information, maintain quality and accuracy, stack and unstack pallets, and assist in other areas as needed. The posting also advertises seasonal Material Handler positions at Green Pointe, along with limited Gift Production openings at Obetz. Schedules vary by facility and shift; candidates must be able to work the assigned seasonal schedule, including overtime as business needs require.

Eligible seasonal employees receive an additional $1.50 per hour during the incentive period. For eligible Gift Production positions, listed pay is $17.00 per hour for first shift and $18.00 per hour for second shift, including the applicable shift differential. Employees may also receive product discounts and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Applicants must be at least 18 and complete the pre-employment process and required Form I-9 documentation if offered employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for production positions and up to 50 lbs. for warehouse and driver positions.
• Ability to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials for Material Handler work.
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts and overtime as business needs require.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment hiring process and provide documentation required for Form I-9 if an offer is extended.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Forklift experience is required for Warehouse Forklift Driver and Freezer Driver positions advertised in the posting.
• Experience operating double-reach forklifts, stock pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scan guns is preferred for Freezer Driver positions.
• Resume is recommended but not required.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures, including refrigerated and freezer environments, depending on the position.
