About The Position

1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is hiring seasonal employees at its Groveport (Green Pointe) and Obetz facilities to support holiday production and warehouse operations. The posting lists seasonal Gift Production Associate openings at both facilities and a Seasonal Material Handler opening at Green Pointe. Employees must be able to work the assigned seasonal schedule, which may include extended weekdays, Saturdays, or evening shifts depending on the facility and position. Eligible seasonal employees receive an additional $1.50 per hour during the seasonal incentive period. For eligible Gift Production positions, the listed rates are $17.00 per hour on first shift and $18.00 per hour on second shift, including the applicable shift differential. The role supports the preparation and movement of holiday products and gifts. Qualified candidates may be able to start shortly after the November 3, 2026 hiring event, subject to completing the hiring process. Applicants must be at least 18 years old and provide required employment eligibility documentation if offered employment.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for production positions and up to 50 lbs. for warehouse and driver positions.
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts and overtime as business needs require.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment hiring process and provide documentation required to complete federal Form I-9 if offered employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience is required for Warehouse Forklift Driver and Freezer Driver positions.
• Experience operating double-reach forklifts, stock pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scan guns is preferred for Freezer Driver positions.
• Resume recommended, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and package gift boxes according to specifications.
• Stock production and shipping lines.
• Verify product and SKU information.
• Maintain quality and accuracy standards.
• Stack and unstack pallets.
• Cross-train and support other areas as needed.
• Follow company food safety, SQF, and workplace safety requirements.
• For material handling work, safely move, load, unload, and stage materials.
• Support different work areas based on business needs.
