1-800-FLOWERS.COM, Inc. is hiring seasonal employees for holiday operations at its Groveport (Green Pointe) and Obetz, Ohio facilities. This hiring-event listing describes Seasonal Gift Production Associate opportunities and a Seasonal Material Handler opening at Green Pointe. Eligible seasonal employees receive an additional $1.50 per hour during the incentive period. For eligible Gift Production positions, first-shift base pay is $15.50 per hour plus the incentive, for $17.00 per hour; second-shift pay includes a further $1.00 shift differential, for $18.00 per hour.

Gift Production Associates assemble and package gift boxes, stock production and shipping lines, verify products and SKU information, maintain quality standards, handle pallets, and support other areas as needed. They must follow company food safety, SQF, and workplace safety requirements. Material Handlers support the movement, loading, unloading, and staging of materials across the operation.

Groveport opportunities listed are first-shift Seasonal Gift Production Associate and Seasonal Material Handler positions. The posted Groveport schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM, and Saturday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Obetz has limited seasonal Gift Production openings: first shift is Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM; second shift is Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM–2:30 AM. Candidates must be able to work the assigned seasonal schedule and overtime as business needs require. The posting describes a fast-paced, team-oriented production or warehouse environment, potentially including varying temperatures, refrigerated areas, or freezers depending on the position.

The hiring event is scheduled for Wednesday, October 28, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM at the Green Pointe facility in Groveport. Qualified candidates may be able to start as soon as October 29, 2026. Candidates can meet the Talent Acquisition team, learn about openings, interview onsite, and complete hiring-process steps. A resume is recommended but not required. Employment offers are contingent on completing the pre-employment process and providing the documentation required for Form I-9.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production or warehouse environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Willingness to work as part of a team.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the workday or shift.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. for production positions and up to 50 lbs. for warehouse and driver positions.
• Ability to safely move, load, unload, and stage materials for Material Handler work.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and work instructions.
• Flexibility to support different areas based on business needs.
• Must be willing to work assigned shifts and overtime as business needs require.
• Must successfully complete the pre-employment hiring process and provide documentation required for federal Form I-9 if offered employment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Forklift experience is required for Warehouse Forklift Driver and Freezer Driver positions.
• Experience operating double-reach forklifts, stock pickers, electric pallet jacks, and RF scan guns is preferred for Freezer Driver positions.
• Resume recommended for the hiring event, but not required.
