About The Position

As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague at Macy’s, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked sales area while supporting the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes. Tasks include preparing products, restocking displays, and assisting with transactions. This role combines service and operational support, requiring you to anticipate team needs, keep the department ready for customers, and help create positive customer experiences during the busy seasonal period.

Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled to work 10–20 hours per week; hours depend on business needs and colleague availability. The role requires flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and prepared for customers.
• Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
• Welcome customers and engage them in friendly, personal conversations to build customer relationships.
• Maintain a shoppable fragrance department by merchandising new receipts and supporting merchandise moves.
• Process damages and testers, and select merchandise to return to vendors.
• Update signs and pricing.
• Assist with transactions and support the sales team on the floor and behind the scenes.
• Share loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, and thank them for their visit.
• Collaborate with colleagues and work toward sales goals and individual and store results.
