Seasonal Retail Fragrances Sales Associate, Moreno Valley
About The Position
As a Seasonal Fragrance Sales Support colleague, you help create a warm, inviting experience in the fragrance department. You maintain a beautifully merchandised, fully stocked space while supporting the sales team behind the scenes and on the sales floor. You prepare products, restock displays, and assist with transactions, using attention to detail and hospitality to help guests feel cared for. The role combines service and support: anticipating team needs, keeping the department ready for customers, and helping create memorable customer experiences during the busy season. Colleagues are expected to be flexible, work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Seasonal colleagues are typically scheduled for 10–20 hours per week, depending on business needs and colleague availability.
Requirements
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively with customers, coworkers, and supervisors.
- Ability to read and understand employment policies and safety rules and procedures in English.

- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, climb ladders, and reach, including above eye level.
- Close vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
- Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Responsibilities
- Help keep the sales floor clean, organized, and ready for customers.
- Review sales goals, learn about new arrivals and top-selling items, and stay informed about trends and promotions.
- Welcome customers and create friendly, personal conversations that build customer relationships.
- Maintain a shoppable fragrance department by merchandising new receipts, processing damages and testers, preparing select merchandise for return to vendors, updating signs and pricing, and supporting merchandise moves.
- Share Loyalty program benefits, ensure customers have what they need, thank customers, and provide attentive service through the completion of their purchase.
- Support teammates through honest, caring, and collaborative teamwork.
- Work toward sales goals, take pride in the work, and learn from colleagues to help achieve individual and store results.
- Assist with register transactions and use handheld equipment and other technology needed for job functions.
