About The Position

The Seasonal Cosmetics Beauty Advisor works on Bloomingdale’s cosmetics floor, providing excellent service and selling the full assortment in-store and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through outstanding service and product knowledge while keeping merchandise presentation compelling. The advisor provides makeup application lessons, skincare consultations and treatments, and current trend advice. They create a welcoming, friendly, and engaging presence on the sales floor, putting customer needs first.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous selling experience; cosmetics experience preferred.
Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
Ability to work a flexible retail schedule that may include day, evening, weekend, and holiday hours.
Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods; reach, crouch, kneel, and stoop; and use color vision.
Frequent use of computers and other technology, including handheld equipment and cash registers, and ability to process register transactions.
Ability to frequently lift or move up to 25 pounds.
