About The Position

The Cosmetics Beauty Advisor works on Bloomingdale’s cosmetics floor, providing excellent customer service and selling the store’s assortment both in-store and online. The role focuses on building and maintaining client relationships through product knowledge and outstanding service while maintaining compelling merchandise presentation. The advisor provides makeup application lessons, skin care consultations and treatments, and current trend advice. The position calls for a welcoming, friendly, and engaged presence on the sales floor, with customer needs as the priority.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous selling experience; cosmetics experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructional documents, including safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

• Previous selling experience in cosmetics.
