Seasonal Christmas Tree Sales Associate
About The Position
Esbenshade's Garden Centers is hiring a Seasonal Christmas Tree Sales Associate in Lititz, Pennsylvania. The role helps customers choose Christmas trees, fresh greens, and seasonal nursery products, while providing friendly service and contributing to a smooth, memorable holiday shopping experience. Associates prepare trees for customers, help load purchases into vehicles, maintain a clean and safe nursery area, operate small equipment after training, assist with deliveries and stocking, process purchases, and support holiday activities such as the Night of Joy event. This is an active, hands-on outdoor role involving standing for 6–8 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and working in varying weather, including cold, rain, and snow. The employer offers full-time and part-time seasonal opportunities, flexible seasonal scheduling, and evening and weekend shifts. Previous retail, customer service, landscaping, or garden center experience is helpful but not required. The stated pay is $14–$16 per hour.

Responsibilities
- Help customers select Christmas trees, fresh greens, and seasonal nursery products.
- Answer customer questions, offer suggestions, and provide a positive shopping experience.
- Prepare Christmas trees and assist with loading trees and other purchases into customers’ vehicles.
- Keep the nursery area clean, organized, and safe by tidying displays, removing trash, and clearing walkways.
- Operate a saw and tree drill after training and in accordance with safety procedures.
- Assist with unloading deliveries and stocking seasonal products.
- Process customer purchases at the nursery register and assist with checkout as needed.
- Support special holiday activities, including the Night of Joy event, and help the team as needed.
