About The Position

As a Seasonal Operator, you will provide quality products and services through operations that help member owners of River Valley Cooperative succeed financially in their farming operations and support a sustainable local cooperative that serves member needs. The position involves operating and maintaining equipment and vehicles, handling chemicals, and supporting grain and facility operations. Other related duties may be assigned as needed to meet the organization’s ongoing needs. Requirements

Basic computer skills.
Valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in agriculture or a related field.
CDL or Seasonal CDL.

Responsibilities

Operate and maintain all equipment and vehicles.
Handle and deliver bulk and packaged chemicals.
Unload and load grain from storage bins and/or transportation, as needed.
Perform daily vehicle inspections.
Clean and maintain equipment.
Utilize heavy machinery, such as an end loader or skid steer.
Observe OSHA, DOT, state, and federal safety regulations at all times.
Follow housekeeping practices that keep facilities neat and clean.
Perform other related duties as needed to meet the ongoing needs of the organization.
