About The Position
The Seasonal Cashier / Sales Floor Associate delivers a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. Responsibilities may include cashiering, processing merchandise, maintaining the sales floor, supporting store recovery and safety, and participating in shrink-reduction programs. The position is at TJ Maxx Store 1463 in Enfield, Connecticut. The starting pay range is $16.94 to $17.44 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience. Benefits are subject to applicable plan terms and, for some benefits, service or hours requirements.

Responsibilities
- Deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers and following established customer experience practices.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and provide the correct change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and receive recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and help maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
