About The Position

Seasonal Retail Associates deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. Associates follow operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role also supports a positive store culture, store safety, and shrink-reduction goals. Starting pay is $16.94 to $17.44 per hour; actual pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage and interact with customers while modeling established customer experience practices for internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery as needed throughout the day.
• Maintain organizational, cleanliness, and recovery standards on the sales floor and help maintain and clean the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Adhere to labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
