Retail Sales Floor Associates
About The Position
Marshalls Retail Sales Floor Associates deliver a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Associates follow operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The role includes customer service, transaction processing, merchandise preparation, store recovery, and contributing to a safe and positive store culture. The position is at Marshalls Store 0645 in Lawrence, Massachusetts. Starting pay is $16.25 to $16.75 per hour; actual starting pay depends on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities
- Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
- Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
- Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
- Promote credit and loyalty programs.
- Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
- Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
- Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
- Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards, and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
- Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
- Follow applicable labor laws, policies, and procedures.
- Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
- Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
