About The Position

This is un-skilled work responsible in assisting the day-to-day activities of the Cart Fleet. An employee in this class reports directly to the Golf Professional for daily instruction, schedule and general duties. This position requires customer relation skills consistent with management goals. This person must have ability to understand general direction regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the golf cart fleet.

Requirements

• Ability to understand general direction regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of the golf cart fleet.
• Ability to use all related equipment for golf cart cleaning and maintenance.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and stand during shift.
• Ability to perform physical functions, including ability to lift objects (weight up to 50 lbs.).
• Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Ability to work other than normal working hours, and to work various shifts as necessary.
• Ability to be bonded.
• Possession of, or ability to obtain after employment CPR/First Aid Certification.

• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule format.

Responsibilities

• Cleaning, staging, and storage of all golf carts.
• Practice range ball cleaning and storage.
• Relating to all customers in a consistent and friendly manner.
• Bending, stooping, kneeling, and standing during shift.
• Lifting objects up to 50 lbs.
• Maintaining a neat and sanitary work environment.
• Maintaining personal hygiene to departmental standards.
• Following all opening and closing duties.
• Communicating with management regarding issues with the golf shop or carts.
• Demonstrating regular and predictable attendance.
• Operating equipment as necessary.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
