About The Position

As a member of Nordstrom's Beauty Department, the Seasonal Beauty Sales employee creates personalized beauty experiences and helps customers feel their best. The role focuses on understanding customer needs and maximizing sales across on-trend and luxury beauty brands. The employee may conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommend products aligned with customers' beauty goals, and build a customer following both in store and digitally. Availability is required from 11/22 through 12/24. The position is based at the Irvine Spectrum Center.

Responsibilities

Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses, and recommend products based on customers' beauty goals.
Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for customers.
Set and achieve sales goals for in-store and digital selling using selling tools, including text and social media.
Book appointments and drive sales for in-store Beauty events and services.
Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready.
Stay current on beauty trends, products, and industry knowledge through trainings provided by Nordstrom and brand partners.
Manage sales, refunds, and exchanges, and build customer loyalty by opening new Nordstrom Rewards program accounts.
