About The Position

Concord Hospitality is hiring a Seasonal Bartender at the Capital Hotel in Little Rock, Arkansas, for the busy holiday season. The role involves setting up and closing the bar, serving drink orders in the proper calling order, preparing cocktails according to beverage standards, and handling guest payments in accordance with credit card procedures. The bartender is responsible for maintaining bar supplies and inventory, glassware, ice, beer, juices, and soda, as well as cleaning the work area at the end of shifts. Responsibilities

Set up the bar.
Break down the bar, secure liquor, and store fruit and juices properly.
Accept drink orders from guests and servers in the proper calling order.
Prepare cocktails in accordance with Beverage Standards using a standard jigger.
Follow check-handling procedures, including credit card policies and procedures; cash tabs are not allowed.
Complete opening and closing duties listed on the checklist.
Check and replace glassware as needed.
Stock and replenish ice at all ice stations.
Clean floors in the assigned area at the end of each shift.
Empty and steam-clean trashcans at the end of each shift or as necessary.
Manage soda and juice inventory and rotate stock.
Stock and replenish bottled and keg beer as necessary.
