About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You will welcome customers and help them find products for their families’ needs, including baby essentials and clothing for school and other milestones. You will work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and contribute to positive shopping experiences while supporting store operations.

Requirements

• Positive, solutions-oriented mindset.

• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist them with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist customers with omnichannel services as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
