About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers and support them through important parenting milestones, from preparing for a new baby to getting ready for the first day of school. You’ll work in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment that values and develops team members’ skills and talents. This seasonal role involves customer service, sales-floor support, point-of-sale transactions, replenishment, and helping maintain a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled. The job description notes that duties may change or be reassigned at management’s discretion, and employees may be asked to perform additional duties.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and help them understand product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and assist multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to support a positive shopping experience.
• Complete and expedite point-of-sale and register transactions.
• Replenish the sales floor and process shipments as needed.
• Explain current promotions and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
