About The Position

As a Seasonal Associate, you will be the first face of the Carter’s brand for growing families. You’ll welcome customers and help them find apparel and other products for babies and young children, supporting them through milestones from welcoming a new child to preparing for the first day of school. The role takes place in a welcoming and inclusive retail environment and involves customer service, sales-floor support, register transactions, and maintaining a safe, clean store. Availability may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Requirements

• Effective, professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds as needed, with frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and climb up and down a ladder.
• Availability that may include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and assist with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Proactively resolve customer issues and serve multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel needs to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point-of-sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment tasks as needed.
• Explain current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Help minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.
