About The Position

The Season Retail Associate is responsible for delivering a highly satisfying customer experience by engaging with customers, embodying the company’s customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. The role follows operational, merchandising, and loss-prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs. The associate supports a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; processes customer purchases and returns accurately; promotes credit and loyalty programs; prepares and merchandises products according to company standards; and participates in store recovery, cleanliness, safety, and shrink-reduction efforts. Other duties may be assigned. The role is based at Marshalls Store 0564, 325 Merchant Walk Sq B700, Charlottesville, Virginia. The starting pay range is $13.75–$14.25 per hour, with actual starting pay depending on relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

Model established customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to established procedures.
Promote credit and loyalty programs.
Uphold the merchandising philosophy and follow established merchandising procedures and standards.
Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the cleanliness of the entire store.
Give and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
Support and participate in store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Work in multiple store areas when cross-trained to support business needs.
