Scooper - Meridian, Idaho New Shop Opening!
About The Position
Salt & Straw is hiring Scoopers for its Meridian, Idaho shop. Scoopers create memorable guest experiences by providing welcoming service, sharing flavor stories, offering samples, and helping guests discover flavors. They also support daily shop operations by scooping ice cream, making waffle cones, operating the register, processing transactions, assisting with online and delivery orders, preparing products to recipes and quality standards, restocking products and supplies, and maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and organization. The role includes dishwashing, cleaning, and other operational tasks, as well as collaborating with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment. Applicants must be at least 16 years old and able to work at least three shifts per week, including two closing shifts, as well as evenings, weekends, and holidays. The role is part-time and pays $15.50 per hour. The shop environment contains common food allergens, including peanuts, tree nuts, dairy, eggs, soy, wheat, and seafood.
Requirements

Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service and create welcoming experiences for guests.
- Share flavor stories, offer samples, and help guests discover flavors.
- Scoop ice cream, make waffle cones, operate the register, and support daily shop operations.
- Greet guests, answer questions, and help guide the flow of the shop.
- Accurately process transactions and assist with online and delivery orders.
- Prepare products according to recipes and quality standards.
- Restock ice cream, supplies, and retail products throughout the shift.
- Maintain food safety, cleanliness, and organization standards throughout the shop.
- Support dishwashing, cleaning, and other operational tasks.
- Collaborate with teammates to create a positive and supportive environment.
