About The Position

Krise Transportation is hiring a School Van Driver to transport students between home and school. Drivers are an essential link between students and schools and are expected to prioritize student safety and welfare. The role is part of a supportive team and family atmosphere, with relationships among drivers, children, parents, and school districts central to the company’s approach.

The schedule follows the student calendar, with flexibility around nights, weekends, holidays, and summers off. Drivers may have opportunities for additional routes and pay through school activity and trip assignments.

Requirements

• Hold a valid driver license for at least two years.
• Have a satisfactory driving history, based on a review of state records.
• Have a satisfactory criminal history and pass child abuse history checks.
• Take and pass an initial driver physical and routine physicals.
• Participate in and pass pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing throughout employment.

Responsibilities

• Transport children in a school van.
• Help ensure the safety, welfare, and wellness of students.
• Work with students, parents, schools, and coworkers in a supportive team environment.
