About The Position

The Collegiate Charter School of Lowell is seeking a qualified and detail-oriented School Psychologist to support students in grades 9–12. This role is primarily focused on psychoeducational evaluations and compliance-related responsibilities. The School Psychologist will not be responsible for counseling or direct student intervention services, allowing for a strong focus on high-quality assessment, report writing, and collaboration with IEP teams.

Requirements

Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
Valid Massachusetts School Psychologist license/certification
Experience conducting psychoeducational evaluations, preferably at the secondary level
Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations (e.g., IDEA)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with high school populations (Grades 9–12)
Familiarity with a variety of assessment tools and evaluation frameworks
Experience in a public school setting

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive record reviews for students referred for evaluation or reevaluation
Administer and interpret psychoeducational assessments for high school students
Write clear, compliant, and comprehensive evaluation reports in accordance with state and federal regulations
Participate in and contribute to IEP Team meetings, presenting evaluation results and recommendations
Collaborate with special education staff, administrators, and related service providers
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and legal requirements
