About The Position

Ampersand Therapy is hiring a School Psychologist for a K–12 school setting in Bremerton, WA. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in student success by conducting evaluations, supporting IEP development, and collaborating with school teams. We welcome new clinicians and seasoned professionals alike! This is a part-time position for the 2026-2027 school year, starting August 2026, with 0.5 FTE and in-person work only.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
  • Valid Washington ESA Certification (required by start date)
  • Strong assessment, writing, and collaboration skills

Nice To Haves

  • School-based experience preferred, not required
  • NASP membership a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psycho-educational evaluations and assessments
  • Write comprehensive evaluation reports and IEP documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Provide progress monitoring and maintain compliant documentation
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff
  • Support student behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs
  • Assist in developing appropriate interventions and supports
  • Ensure timelines and compliance with state and federal regulations
