About The Position
Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring School Psychologists throughout Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. They partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available serving various school levels and specialized programs. Boothby takes a personalized approach, matching School Psychologists with positions based on their experience, preferred age group, geographic preferences, and professional interests. They offer more support than traditional school roles, including a Dedicated Service Delivery Manager, collaborative teams, thoughtful placement matching, professional autonomy, access to resources, and a structure designed to support manageable workloads and clinician well-being. Boothby aims to provide a different experience for those who have experienced burnout, excessive caseloads, or professional isolation in traditional school settings.
Requirements
- Master's Degree, Specialist Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
- Valid Vermont School Psychologist License or eligibility
- Strong skills in assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- New Graduates, Experienced School Psychologists, and Retirees Encouraged to Apply
Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
- Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
- Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
- Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
- Provide consultation regarding behavioral interventions and classroom supports
- Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
- Support positive school climates and student success
