About The Position

Boothby Therapy Services is actively hiring School Psychologists throughout Vermont for the 2026–2027 school year. They partner with school districts across the state and have opportunities available serving various age groups and specialized programs. Boothby offers a personalized approach, matching candidates with positions based on their experience, preferred age group, geographic preferences, and professional interests. They emphasize providing more support than traditional school roles, including a dedicated Service Delivery Manager, collaborative teams, thoughtful placement matching, professional autonomy, and access to resources. Requirements

  • Master's Degree, Specialist Degree, or Doctorate in School Psychology
  • Valid Vermont School Psychologist License or eligibility
  • Strong skills in assessment, consultation, intervention, and collaboration
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities

  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments
  • Interpret assessment data and prepare comprehensive evaluation reports
  • Participate in eligibility determinations and IEP development
  • Design and implement evidence-based interventions and supports
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Participate in IEP meetings and school-based problem-solving teams
  • Provide consultation regarding behavioral interventions and classroom supports
  • Monitor student progress and maintain compliant documentation
  • Support positive school climates and student success
