About The Position
NOW HIRING RN/LPN Positions for the 2026-27 School Year!!! We are seeking dedicated School-Based Nurses to provide a critical role in helping students succeed in an academic setting. As a School Nurse, you'll be needed to work shift assignments for health-room screenings, 1:1 assignments, field trips, school events, summer programs, and back up coverage.
Requirements
- Active and unencumbered Nursing license
- Reliable transportation and commitment to consistent school-day shifts
- Smartphone with time-clock app capability
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Required clearances for school employees
- PA Child Abuse History Clearance (via PA Child Welfare Information Solution)
- PA Access to Criminal History Clearance (via Pennsylvania Access to Criminal History)
- Federal Criminal History Record (via IdentoGO , Service Code: 1KG6XN)
- Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training (free 3-hour online training through the University of Pittsburgh)
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- 2-Step PPD or TB Gold
