About The Position

The School Cleaner is a full-time frontline team member responsible for cleaning and disinfecting a school facility. The role includes training in 4M’s cleaning and disinfecting practices using green-seal-certified supplies and equipment. Team members are expected to be reliable, courteous, resourceful, and attentive to facility conditions. Duties are representative and may vary.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Fingerprint screening is required.
• Some janitorial experience is required.
• Must successfully complete a drug screening and background check.
• Must comply with safety guidelines.
• Must wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Wipe down surfaces, including countertops, fixtures, glass, mirrors, windows, and furniture.
• Remove trash.
• Replenish towels, soap, and toilet paper.
• Sweep, wet mop, and vacuum.
• Report needed repairs or replacements and notice and report leaks or drips.
• Follow safety guidelines and wear provided 4M apparel and personal protective equipment when necessary, in accordance with position and OSHA requirements.
