About The Position

As a part-time School Bus Monitor/Aide, you assist the bus driver in providing students with a safe journey to and from school. The role involves helping students board and exit the bus, supporting children with special needs during transport, and ensuring students remain seated and follow safety rules. You communicate with the driver to maintain a safe, calm ride and provide care and encouragement to students. The position requires English proficiency for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications. No prior School Bus Monitor experience is required; safety and training programs are provided.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient when working with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.
• English proficiency for job-related communications.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
