About The Position

The School Bus Monitor/Aide assists the bus driver in providing students with a safe journey to and from school. The role involves helping students board and exit, supporting children with special needs during transport, reinforcing bus safety rules, communicating with the driver, and providing care and encouragement. No prior School Bus Monitor experience is required; industry-leading safety and training programs are provided. The position is part-time in Houston, Texas, with flexible split AM/PM routes on weekdays.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be able to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Have the physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• Be friendly, reliable, and patient when working with children.
• Be team-oriented with a focus on safety.
• Be proficient in English.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Help students safely board and exit the bus.
