About The Position

The School Bus Monitor/Aide assists the bus driver in providing students with a safe journey to and from school. The position helps students board and exit the bus, supports children with special needs during transport, and helps maintain a calm ride by ensuring students remain seated and follow safety rules. The monitor communicates with the driver and provides students with care and encouragement. No prior school bus monitor experience is required; training and safety programs are provided. The role requires English proficiency for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.

Requirements

• At least 21 years of age.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexible split shifts (AM/PM).
• Physical ability to assist students and perform emergency procedures.
• Friendly, reliable, and patient when working with children.
• Team-oriented with a focus on safety.
• English proficiency for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
