About The Position

Krapf Bus is seeking School Bus Drivers to join their team at various schools in the Hampton, NJ area. This is a part-time position with a split schedule, typically 20-25 hours per week, covering AM and PM routes. The role guarantees 4-5 hours of work per day for 9.5 months out of the year, with opportunities for summer work and additional hours through sports, trips, and extended programs. The company offers paid training to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) and covers the cost of permits. Requirements

Hold a valid driver's license for at least one year.
Be able to pass a background check.
Be able to work Monday-Friday, covering both AM and PM routes.
Be able to work 20-25 hours per week.
Be able to work 9.5 months out of the year.
Must be able to obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) with S & P endorsements.
Must be able to pass a background check.

Nice To Haves

Hold a valid CDL with both S & P endorsements.

Responsibilities

Drive school buses to transport students safely to and from school.
Cover AM and PM routes for Flemington, Raritan, and Montgomery.
Operate a school bus in accordance with company policies and state/local traffic laws.
Ensure the safety and well-being of student passengers.
Maintain a clean and safe bus environment.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
Report any vehicle issues or safety concerns to management.
Provide excellent customer service to students, parents, and school staff.
Sign up for additional hours for sports, trips, and extended/summer programs as available.
Potentially work during the summer if desired.

Benefits

Sign-on bonus of $2500.00 for fully licensed school bus drivers with a valid CDL and S & P endorsements (available to new hires between September 15, 2026, and October 15, 2026).
Very Competitive Pay: $26.50 to $29.50 per hour.
Paid training to obtain your Commercial Driver License (CDL).
Cost of obtaining permits is covered.
Guaranteed 4-5 hours per day.
