About The Position
Mustang Transportation is seeking experienced CDL drivers to transport passengers on charter trips and/or daily school bus routes in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The role involves safely and professionally transporting passengers, providing friendly service to charter groups, preparing for trips, inspecting and maintaining the bus, and communicating with dispatch. Work is flexible and on-call, with assignments depending on driver availability and operating needs. Regular or guaranteed hours are not offered. Requirements
- Experienced driver with a current CDL.
- Hold the endorsements required for assigned work.
- Strong safety mindset.
- Clean driving record.
- Able to pass the required background check and drug testing.
- Calm when plans change, dependable, detail-oriented, and friendly.
- Willingness to help and work cooperatively with teammates.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely and professionally on charter trips and/or daily school bus routes.
- Provide charter groups with friendly, attentive service.
- Review trip details, routes, schedules, and fuel needs before departure.
- Complete required vehicle inspections and promptly report concerns.
- Keep the bus clean, organized, and ready for the next trip.
- Keep dispatch informed when plans change.
- Be dependable to passengers and teammates.
