About The Position

First Student is hiring part-time School Bus Drivers in Lancaster, Texas. Drivers transport students safely, picking them up before school and bringing them home after school. The role uses a split shift, with several free hours between the morning pickup and afternoon drop-off. Drivers are guaranteed four hours per school day and 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available through trips and charters. No prior bus-driving experience is required; paid CDL training is provided.

The role is safety-sensitive and subject to DOT drug testing. English proficiency is required for training, safety communications, company policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.

Requirements

• Be at least 21 years old.
• Have held a valid driver’s license for at least three years.
• Be proficient in English for training, safety communications, policies, employment documents, and other job-related communications.
• Submit to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee.
