About The Position
Krapf Bus is hiring school bus drivers in the Hampton, New Jersey area. This is a split-schedule, part-time role operating Monday through Friday and covering both morning and afternoon routes for Washington and Phillipsburg. Drivers work 20–25 hours per week, with 4–5 hours guaranteed per day, for approximately 9.5 months or 38 weeks of the year. Summer work and opportunities to sign up for additional driving hours—including sports, trips, and extended or summer programs—are available. The posting notes that drivers who do not work during the summer may apply for unemployment. No prior driving experience is required. Paid training is provided to obtain a Commercial Driver License, and Krapf covers the cost of obtaining permits. A limited-time $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered to fully licensed school bus drivers who hold a valid CDL with both S and P endorsements; applicable taxes and additional terms may apply. Drivers may have opportunities to advance to full-time trainer, dispatcher, or operations manager roles. Health insurance eligibility is available to employees averaging at least 130 hours per month over a year through additional driving opportunities.
Requirements

- Applicants seeking the $5,000 sign-on bonus must be fully licensed school bus drivers with a valid CDL and both S and P endorsements.
- Be able to work Monday through Friday and cover both AM and PM routes.
Responsibilities
- Drive school bus routes for Washington and Phillipsburg.
