About The Position

Krapf Bus is hiring school bus drivers in the Hampton, New Jersey area. The role offers a split, part-time schedule of 20–25 hours per week, with guaranteed 4–5 hours per day, typically across 9.5 months (38 weeks) of the year. Summer work and opportunities to take on additional driving hours—including sports, trips, and extended or summer programs—may be available. Applicants must be able to work Monday through Friday and cover both morning and afternoon routes for Flemington, Raritan, and Montgomery. A limited-time $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to fully licensed school bus drivers who hold a valid CDL with both S and P endorsements; applicable taxes and additional terms may apply. No prior school bus driving experience is required. Paid training is provided to obtain a Commercial Driver License, and Krapf covers the cost of obtaining permits. Applicants must have held a valid driver’s license for at least one year and be able to pass a background check. Drivers may pursue advancement into full-time trainer, dispatcher, or operations manager roles. Health insurance benefits are available to employees averaging at least 130 hours per month over a year through additional driving opportunities.
