About The Position
Wellness Together, a California 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, partners with schools statewide to increase access to mental health services for students and families. By collaborating with universities and graduate programs, Wellness Together provides cost-effective "turn-key" social-emotional interventions on school campuses across California. This role is part of their mission to support student mental health.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field
- BBS registration in good standing (AMFT, ACSW, APCC, LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC)
- Familiarity with CBT, ACT, and evidence-based interventions
- Ability to collaborate with school teams and families
Nice To Haves
- Experience working with youth impacted by trauma
- Fluency in a second language
Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling to students
- Conduct intake assessments and develop treatment plans
- Offer crisis intervention and perform risk assessments
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and community partners
- Lead mental health workshops for students, parents, and educators
- Maintain accurate and confidential documentation (HIPAA & FERPA compliant)
- Attend triadic clinical supervision and ongoing professional development
