About The Position

Tutor Time is hiring a Lead School Age Teacher to provide daily care and learning experiences for children in a child care center. The teacher follows licensing guidelines and company standards, observes and assesses children, plans educational activities, and communicates with families. The role includes completing extensive training on child care, preschool, and child development and implementing the company’s curriculum through fun, interactive learning experiences. The teacher must be able to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 6 months of experience leading an early childhood classroom and creating educational lesson plans in a licensed center.
• A minimum of 12 Early Childhood Education units.
• Ability to meet state requirements for background checks, immunizations, CPR/First Aid, and mandated reporter training.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
