About The Position

This is a child care center teaching role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. The Lead Teacher creates interactive learning experiences, mentors fellow Teachers, supports children’s social, physical, and intellectual growth, and leads classroom management and curriculum implementation. The role also requires knowledge of licensing guidelines and company standards, as well as building relationships with enrolled and prospective families to support children’s achievement and the center’s success.

Requirements

• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and the child care center’s requirements.
• Experience working with children.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Maintain a safe, violation-free driving record.
• Flexibility with work hours and schedule.
• At least 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Mentor fellow Teachers.
