School Age Teacher

About The Position

Chesterbrook is seeking a qualified Child Care Teacher for its school-age after-school program, working with children ages 5–12. The role includes helping children with homework, playing games, and talking with them about their school day. The teacher designs and implements interactive, age-appropriate activities that support children’s cognitive, social, and emotional growth; fosters a warm, consistent classroom routine; builds positive partnerships with families through ongoing communication; and collaborates with co-teachers and school leaders to provide an exceptional learning experience. Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must meet state licensing requirements.
Prior experience in a licensed childcare center.
Passion for early learning, creativity, and helping children discover new skills each day.
Authorization to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

CDA or degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
