About The Position

Healthy Kids Programs is hiring a part-time School-Age Childcare Assistant for an after-school program at Mettawee Community School in West Pawlet, Vermont. The position follows the school calendar and is for the 2026–2027 school year. The schedule is 2:25 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. on school days, with pay of $16.00 to $17.50 per hour and payday every other Friday.

The assistant helps create a fun, welcoming after-school space, supports children in building friendships through games and activities, and serves as a positive influence during their afternoon.

Requirements

• Enjoy working with school-age children.
• Be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Be comfortable working in a structured school setting.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with school-age children; experience is helpful but not required.
